My Style
I think I need to put a little more flow into my posts. I have so much to say, I can't seem to get it out. After reading some of my posts, I find that I jump around and just made statement after statement. That's fine, because I type the way I talk, but voice inflection, pause, and hand gestures just don't come out in text. While I have proof to back up my arguements, I just don't think I present it correctly. Meaning, I don't complete a full thought. My brain just goes on to the next point I want to make or the next thing I want to say and I just start typing. I don't know. However it makes for great debate. It's hard to explain. Maybe it a good thing because it sparks debate. What do you think?

Hot and bothered indeed.
She has my vote.
(congrats on getting engaged, Scott)
I would like to add, though, that I'm glad that the US has at least these few politically-invested.
Proud to be an arguer,
Jess
I'd like to think that debate and/or arguing makes us all better educated, if not better prepared for the next debate. If somebody can convince me that my point is wrong, then I should be happy they corrected me. I they can't convince me, it should make me all that much stronger in my conviction (unless I irrationally refuse to be convinced by a more sound argument because I'm stubborn, but I'm assuming that we're all at least moderately open-minded here). So ramble and rant all you want - the more you get out there, the more we can "help" you with by fighting you on.
Speaking of debate, hows about McCain/Lieberman in 2008? I would be very hard pressed to convince anyone that a split ticket is anything but implausible, but methinks the idea to be delicious none the less.
It would be fun, I just don't think Lieberman has got the chops for it. If it were the case, McCain would have him in 7 games. World series mode sorry. But slip ticket world be the case and that's when it gets nitty gritty. That's when politics gets fun.
